At the Chickasha Vision Center you can expect the best in eye care and technology. We specialize in all medical eye conditions including Cataracts, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetes, Dry Eye, and high-risk medication exams. As we move throughout life, our eyes change and adjust, an eye exam is recommended once per year. Most patients do not know that while doing an eye exam, your eye doctor can see live blood vessels and that is the only place on the body that live blood vessels can be seen without a surgeon making an incision!
Medical eye exams
Medical eye exams are essential in total wellness care as we age. The doctor can see the live blood vessels which gives them a chance to see if there are any plaques developing as well as noting diabetic changes. There are many instances that systemic diseases such as diabetes or conditions such as high cholesterol are diagnoses by your eye doctor.
Our technology allows our doctors to get images and scans of all parts of the eye to help them diagnose and treat a wide variety of eye conditions.
